Aire & Calder canal

Boothferry Aire & Calder JCC

BOOTHFERRY AIRE AND CALDER JOINT CANAL COMMITTEE
This gives our members access to around 11 miles (600 pegs) of coarse fishing on the Aire and Calder Navigation between Great Heck and Goole.
It’s a bit of a drive from Bingley, but hopefully, it will be worth the trip.
See the BACJCC website for full details and rules
If you are planning a trip it would be advisable to check their “matches booked” page first, to see if your chosen stretch is booked. matches are usually on Wednesdays or weekends.

If you go to fish here, getting feedback on how you have done on the club members-only Facebook page would be good.

The first map image shows the extent of the length. Subsequent maps indicate access points, along with What 3 Words addresses to aid navigation.
Where possible, available car parking next to access points has been indicated.

NOTE: Access via the lane to Sugar Mill Ponds is gated and gates are locked in the evening (see times posted near the gates)
Please ensure you are out in time or you will be locked in for the night.
